Ryan Tomasini, DVM grew up in South Texas, spending most of his childhood in San Antonio. Having previously been a client during his childhood, Dr. Tomasini is proud to be part of the team at Acres North Animal Hospital. His desire to help animals began at age 2 after seeing a snake on the side of the road. It was too late for the snake of course, but it left a life-long impression and desire to help animals.
Dr. Tomasini accomplished his childhood dream when he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 2013. Prior to vet school he attended Texas A&M earning a bachelors in Biomedical Science, followed by a Masters in Public Health from Texas A&M School of Public Health. Having grown up in San Antonio he returned with his family after graduating and practiced for 4 years before joining Acres North.
Dr. Tomasini met his wife, Maggie, while at Aggieland and they married just before he started vet school. They have 2 wonderful kids, a girl and a boy, to keep them both busy. Other family members include 3 cats- Montecore, Leroy, and Hazel, and a dog named Whiskey. Besides spending time with his family, Dr. Tomasini enjoys working outside at the ranch, hunting, fishing, and wood working when time allows.
